About Glisten School
Glisten is a Pre and Primary English Medium school located an Mirerani town of Simanjiro district in Manyara Province, Tanzania.
Glisten School was established with the aim of providing affordable solutions to modern day education needs through high quality service that impacts on our children, for a brighter future.
Our Institution was originally founded in 2012 as a small nursery school and formally registered on 18th May 2017 as a pre and primary school. The school currently runs as a mixed day school with a single stream.
In order to meet the individual needs of our students, we maintain a wide range of quality service offerings. In this endeavor we have commendable experience in dealing with the various needs we are met with while dealing with students we serve as well as in maintenance of a productive service team in the staff and non staff we work with.
We have also developed very good relationships with key partners who include: Parents,, sponsors and other associated service providers needed to effect teaching operations , as well the Government of Tanzania which has been patient with us and supported us so far to being a fully fledged learning Centre. With this trust based partnership we have had the ability and right foundation to serve exceed the expectations of our stakeholders.

Quality execution is made possible with the aid of the proactive patrons, committed employees and support from partners. Our institution is wholly dedicated towards meeting the set objectives and goals; in being of service and achieving the best.

- Destitute/ Orphaned Children from Manyara region and majorly the Gemstone Mining area of Mirerani area; facing high social degradation, high levels of child neglect, high rate child molestation, unhealthy childcare and poor development environment.
- Students from able families willing to pay for and enjoy quality education; unavailable in their regions.
- Qualified staff suffering lack of employment and able to lead the team to achieve the community development goals.
- Well wishers and able organizations willing to support and work with the Institution to realize a positive change for this society.
- Like Minded “Friends of the School” who wish to contribute to a worthwhile course.
